Rev. Peter Fairbrother | Ministries in Self-care
Sacred ceremony One of the lovely things about holding sacred ceremony as an Interfaith Minister, whether it's a baby blessing, wedding, funeral or other life event/ rite of passage, is the honouring of all that is deeply personal. As an Interfaith Minister I am not bound by the structures and strictures of any particular religious tradition. You choose the tone, content, structure and setting for your ceremony. Perhaps you'd like a ceremony that includes your favourite poetry and prose. Or one that features song and dance. Maybe you'd like a ceremony which weaves together elements from a number of faith paths or one that honours your own sense of spirituality. Perhaps your wish is for a ceremony held outdoors, in your favourite place in nature. Or all of the above! The possibilities are endless, and I'm happy to support and guide you in the development of a ceremony that is special and unique to you and your loved ones. As a gay man I'm particularly delighted to serve the LGBTQI+ community. In Scotland I'm able to solemnise legal marriage for same sex and opposite sex couples. If you'd like to explore whether I could be of service to you, please get in touch by email or via Facebook. Thank you. |
