Rev. Peter Fairbrother | Ministries in Self-care
A little about me I was ordained as a OneSpirit Interfaith Minister in 2016. During the first year of my ministry I served as a mentor to the 2016 intake of OneSpirit ministry students (Class of 2018). From 2018-2021 I served as Minister of Unitarians in Edinburgh, St. Mark's Unitarian Church. Presently, I'm part of the Spiritual Care Team, NHS Lothian, serving as chaplain (2022-). Prior to training for interfaith ministry, I worked in UK health and social services in a variety of roles, principally in the fields of information & research (over twenty years experience derived from the statutory and third sectors). My educational background includes a first degree in Librarianship and Drama, an MSc. in Social Research, and postgraduate qualifications in leadership and management. Originally from Northern Ireland, I live in beautiful East Lothian with my partner Phil. I have a passion for woodland walks and coastal living which is generously satisfied where I live. I'm also a big Doctor Who fan and a longtime devotee of the Eurovision Song Contest, regularly attending live shows across Europe and beyond. Inner more: click here. |
