Rev. Peter Fairbrother | Ministries in self-care
As Minister of Unitarians in Edinburgh it was a joy to lead Sunday worship, and to serve as an occasional guest Minister elsewhere. I have preached to Unitarian congregations in Scotland, England, and the United States (via Zoom), and I remain open to further such invitations.
The following themes are 'active' in my preaching ministry at this time: the art and practice of sacred listening; all things broken beautiful; addiction and the wounded healer; honouring introversion; being with anxiety; rewilding ourselves; making time to 're-treat'; and exploring the simplicities and complexities of self-care and unity consciousness.
Heart circles are sacred spaces where people share how they are through silence, words, and/ or music. Laughter is welcome. Tears are welcome. Anger, sadness, pain, joy... the gamut of emotions is welcome and honoured as we explore connection to our self and each other. In essence, a heart circle is a place to simply be. It is my intention to hold a monthly Heart Circle, online, commencing September 2021. Further information to follow. Keep an eye on my Facebook page.
